Pizza Rita Owner And Daughter
Brian Dickmann is the owner of Pizza Rita, W502 Indiana, a business named for his daughter, Rita, 2 1/2 years old.
Dickmann is an experienced pizza man, having served as a manager for major chain pizza operations here, in Portland and more recently in Anchorage, Alaska.
"The thing I can brag about this business is that all of our pizza makings are strictly fresh and our pizza dough is made fresh daily," Dickmann said.
He features Rita's Real Pizza, where the customer has the delight of seven toppings which includes pepperoni, ground beef, sausage, mushrooms, olives, onions, and green peppers.
Dickmann offers free delivery from 10 am to midnight daily, and from 10 am to 2am Fridays and Saturdays.
"We honor any and all competitor coupons, current or expired," said the pizza shop owner.
Two free pops are given with each carryout pizza order.
"The success of my business here in Spokane will depend largely on my real knowledge of the pizza business," Dickmann said. "I want to give my customers good value and the freshest pizza, served by the friendliest people."
All of the pizzas at Pizza Rita are light pan pizzas; pepperoni ranks as the most requested topping. Canadian bacon and pineable runs a close second.
Available toppings include tomatoes, shrimp, extra cheese, anchovy, jalepeno peppers, pineapple, olives, green pepper, onion, mushrooms, sausage, beef, Canadian bacon, bacon bits, fajita chicken, fresh garlic, bbq beef, and pepperoni.
"We have anchovies, but I can't recall the last time a customer ever asked for that on a pizza," Dickmann said with a smile.
